Mexican golden age was the 1970s when USA cities were arguably at their most crime ridden and lawless.

This video is from the lost decade (80s) and even that looks so comfy.

The point is we have a view of Mexico coloured by narcos etc. but Mexican has been and will be so much more than that. I have total faith in Mexico and North America as a whole to develop and have a bright future.

It's not that easy. These guys have lots of weapons and resources and there's corruption in local municipalities that makes it hard to govern.

Shienbaum is doing pretty good though. AMLO was garbage with the cartels.
