There's some truth to it. American-style capitalism where number must go up regardless of cost is ruining the world. Covid made corpos realise that people are willing to pay much higher for less products. The obvious solution is to tax companies more above a certain valuation treshold (not "profit", which companies now creatively avoid). Logically, companies that are not making profit should not be having a high valuation. This will also stop hype stonks from ruining the stock market.
