I visited it in 2022, great place, loved it. In a week there I did everything I could possibly do, you can drive around the main island in less than 5 hours.

The only thing I didn't like was the food. I hope it would be a mix of Italian, Greek, Arab with British influence, but it was absolute 100% britbong slop. They were serving full British breakfasts at 9pm with 40 degrees, that's a criminal offence.

Other than, very nice place. But I can imagine how people can suffer there, I mean I live in a mid size city and the area is still bigger than Malta. You must get very bored if you end up borning there.

I can see that. I tried eating some typical food, pastizzi were good but it was really to hot for them, and one I ate in Marsaxlokk gave me the shits. We asked for bragioli and the rabbit soup that apparently is very good but we found no place that prepared it in August, understandably.

Please elaborate, I rarely see Maltese posters here and I don't know much about their day by day life.
I did notice a lot of commie block style apartment construction going on, and I know you guys have same problems as us with migrants from Libya and Tunisia. But I didn't see that many refugees around the place, it was mostly tourists and locals.
