from what I understand the trend is that younger gens are more drawn towards extreme positions, so more commies but also more far right death squads types... but still not by a lot, the bulk of the younger generations are still mostly moderates, it's like those fringe positions went from being 2% of the general population to being 5%
this is what happens after decades of milquetoast centrists and government policies moving at the pace of continental drift
