scandinavia is a made up term that orginated in the mid 1800 scandinavism larp movement, it was language based not geographicly so obviously denmark was in and finland not.
we never use the term scandinavia here due to it not being a real thing and we are confused why all english speakers do specially since none gets it right. nordic is the term they should be using.

Yep, they got their language from Ural hapas. Finland is genetically 2 parts, South/West Finland is close to the original SHG and East/North Finland is Eastern shifted and closer to Russians. The genetic gap is quite wide
