yes and no, you just move on and leave that behind you. but every girl you truly loved and had something going with takes a part of you with you when they leave (or you leave them) and eventually you have nothing left, you are empty.
in some way thats when you are ready to settle down because then you do it out of logical and practical reasons and together you two can buildt up some of that together and when you are boomers with grandkids you finally feel love again. and then you die.
