It's exactly the same as with the riots in Nortgern Ireland a while back that were triggered by some rape by romanian immigrants, articles and news reports here were either very reluctant mentioning what triggered the riots or didn't mention it at all, generally just calling it "racist/anti-immigrant" riots and being very vague overall. The reluctance to report at all felt tangible, it feels like listening to someone talking through clenched teeth or something
