You are referring to divorce laws in Islam. Men have the ultimate power to divorce their wives, but it comes with stipulations and responsibilities. It is forbidden to divorce a pregnant wife because it is a form of torture to her and the child. The 3 months rule refers to the right of the WOMAN to remarry. She must wait for 3 months to ensure she is not preggers from the previous husband, which can have huge implications on inheritance.

There is no minimum age to marry, correct. But the requirements are:
1. Have reached puberty. Those who reached puberty are considered adults and this has been true in most cultures until very recently. Modern society has placed the AOC at 18 because that's the age people leave school. But many countries still have it at 15 or 16.
2. Sound of mind
3. Want to marry (asexuals are forbidden to marry because sex is a duty of both husband and wife)
