The working conditions in Mexico resemble those of industrializing England.
Its not uncommon for workers in the maquiladoras to work 10 or 12 hours everyday.
Rural workers also work long hours.
This has nothing to do with a subjective "mentality". Its purely objective factors; i.e. the development of the productive forces, the political battles of the proletariat to achieve better living standards, the pool of the reserve army of labour (pauperized peasant populations)
