As I learn and coomsoom japanese media I notice the naunces of the language that can't be properly translated.
Like, in formal settings where the characters just go on and on to say something short like yes. But then they swap to shorter sentences when they are alone or towards family or those they consider close friends. Or like in a doujin where the man yells "辞めてください", which serves to show and reinforce the fact that he's a bitch.

Note that tiny bowls are NOT okay for permanent housing of fish, any fish, they are living beings not furniture. Even small fish ideally need a big tank with foliage and nooks and crannies to swim into.
It's a great injustice we have done on pet fish, but we can do better.
