HRT is amazing and it makes you look WAY younger. I am not even joking when I say there's basically no downsides to taking hormones lol. it doesn't even really impact your fertility unless you are a massive retard

but... it doesn't make you a woman. and that's kind of the fucking point isn't it?
the main issue is that it both "works" and it doesn't. like, to look like a cis woman is virtually impossible with all the money and research and surgery in the world.

so you end up looking younger and way more pretty...but it comes with the mental baggage of being a tranny and people know that you are a tranny because you look fucking gay as fuck. people HATE trannies. it's just not a fun thing to be.

I guess the turning point for me was going through a kind of "ego death" moment where I realized that none of the upsides of taking HRT were worth the downsides of being a tranny. so I stopped it.

When my father was alive, he had a supply of never ending stories about his life. It was more of a one sided thing since I mostly listened, but I did enjoy his stories.

My mother is usually more on the complaining side, but I see where she’s coming from, she’s just overzealous and worrisome.
