It is clear that they are treated badly.

I have two cousins who are low functioning autists, they just drool and mumble nonsense, both from my mother's side. Plus I have autistic traits myself and my sister, although basically normal, is not as social as other children. I think there is a big predisposition to autism on my mother's side. Degenerative genes tho.

Used to be almost all public school teachers (95% women) would force autistic boys in to social situations and constantly berate them for not participating as expected. I assume it's still the same until a parent has to tell the teacher to cut it out. Women are ruthless to boys who aren't social.
