Self-hating is based when you are unfortunate enough to be a jeet. I don't hate myself though, just the other people of my race. Also, it doesn't take long for white "racists" to realise I am normal. Simple things like holding the door open, not looking down on blue collar / service workers, greeting people of all classes, practicing good hygiene, etc, go a long way.

I am Catholic, but point still stands I guess. Goans hates the Jeet invasion post-independence. Also, Hindus, Muslims, Christians, it's all the same here, they are all culturally Hindus: believe in caste system, treat service workers like shit, just being dirty and disgusting all around, and all the other bullshit that's associated with Hindus. The only people I like here are Parsis, Buddhists, Animists, and dare I say, Jews, which makes sense, since they are usually outsiders. North East India genuinely is one the best places on Earth: warm but tough people who settled here to escape the CCP and great food. No surprise, most of them—like Goans—don't consider themselves Indians.
