What sanctions are left to impose? Most EU countries would much rather Russia annex everything in the former commblock and then sell cheap gas to them so they never have to think about this issue again. The US was the one thing pressuring them into applying sanctions and shit.

We can't put up even a fraction of the fight that Ukraine can, and NATO isn't real without the US. Literally all Putin has to do is announce he's gonna invade 1 month in advance and that he will order his forces not to engage foreign troops unless fired upon. That's it. Every single NATO country present here will break and either withdraw or order a purely defensive RoE.

For bonus points he can invade one at a time.

Our militaries are not large enough or equipped correctly to create a grindfest. Yeah if we weren't retarded and went all in on drones like the Ukrainians have, we could hold them pretty well in their current state. But we haven't even started doing that, instead our militaries are fucking around procuring shit like it's still GWOT or as if we're going to have the ability to conduct armored maneuver warfare.

Ukraine and Russia relies on those, not because they want to, but because its their only option left. Here, educate yourself

you don't grasp how fucking tiny this country is. our regular military is half of an infantry brigade in combat strength. we've got an part time national guard that's about a division in strength. neither of them is equipped or trained for the kind of war we'd have to fight to hold the russians in their current state.

unlike the Ukrainians, who had enough force mass to absorb the initial shock, defeat the Kyiv advance and then hold for long enough to figure out effective defensive methods, we don't have a buffer. the russians are not as good at using drones as the Ukrainians, but they're still much better than literally anyone else in the world, because they've been at war for 3 years. meanwhile our army hasn't even begun to make doctrinal adjustments to account for the fact that every single russian infantry platoon is now supported by an FPV team and everything on the battlefield is constantly being observed and tracked in real time.

Will Sweden send its military to the Baltics to repel a Russian invasion? And I’m not talking about a few brigades, would Sweden send +100,000 soldiers to the Baltics and fight the Russian navy and air force in the Baltic sea? Would Germany, France, Britain, America do the same?

A modern army should invest into drones. The article rightfully points out they don't replace conventional weapons, but augment existing capabilities.
The real issue however is that rrone warfare evolves far too quickly fpr the regular procurement process.

stfu you fucking retard. stop consuming cope. yes, the Americans can brute force their way around the fact that their infantry is utterly unprepared to fight entrenched positions covered by an endless swarm of FPV drones by bombing everything from 30kft, but we don't even have a fixed wing air force. Ukraine tried using NATO maneuver warfare tactics with NATO equipment and NATO-trained troops on the attack and it failed miserably.

our force is entirely composed of light infantry, and this light infantry is neither equipped nor trained to survive on the modern battlefield. they're following US Air-Land battle doctrine from the 80s, just like every other untested NATO military.
