Whats it like living in a non developed or 1st world country? what do you guys think when you see paved roads and power plants and skyscrappers and shit? what do your countrymen think? do you see us complain about our country/politics and roll your eyes? how do you think our lives are?

we think that we're never going to have those, even smaller scale projects like a simple bridge get pocketed by local barons and architects here

most of the time yes but your complains are also valid. this is why you're a first world country, you demand accountability and see change while doing the same here will just make everyone tell you to be grateful

I noticed firsties vastly overrate the shitness of the third world. Third world is violent, dirty and poor, but its not a whole different world: third world has paved roads, skycrapers etc. I have seen firsties shocked about how african countries have malls, how indian people can afford pure breed dogs, and how brazilians have 24h electricity. Its not like that, its more like a situation where firsties are way too much developed than that thirdies are way too much poor
