As you can see the debt goes up and down for periods of 5 years. the biggest problem was COVID hit and disturbed the plans of the government.

Right now when Romania has a deficit i LOANS that amount from the free central bank. Now they caused the same inflation but also have to pay back the principal amount + interest.

Although if you reign in the central bank the US will bomb you so...
