Probably Ken Clarke. He was the faction of the old Tory party that was probably very centre of the party, but was smart enough to bring all groups together. He was a good chancellor, knew his shit and wouldn't have allowed something like brexit or the current disaster that the Tory party is now to occur. He also didn't like Boris Johnson and was removed as a member of the party because he stood up to him.
