It’s probably going to be fine as most flying is done by autopilot these days but let’s say you do need pilot intervention. Do you really want the DEI hire for whom the standards were lowered? Just be polite about it and say something came up, you need to take a later flight

I trust a black more than a muslim

I fly professionally. I've flown with a couple of women in my career and they were all fine.
I haven't flown with any black people though. I only know one black pilot and he's retired.
