that's mostly true but I remember when kids were more involved in churches 15-20 years ago and everyone still got a noticeable amount of brainwashing. I grew up protestant and when I visited a catholic church service I got weirded out. Those kids at least in the religious sense grew up 100 times more conservative and stricter than I did. We mostly play pop songs in our churches.
