Honestly its shocking how well dressed asians are. Both men and women. They are all fashion maxxed to the extreme.
Hungarians and I think Europeans in general dont put nearly as much emphasis on clothes and haircuts as them. I can even tell apart the Chinese who live here from the tourists just by comparing their cloths.

I wouldnt feel comfortable in a country where you are expected to look absolutely fresh af every time you leave your house.

Those are rich tourists. Chinese are pretty casual in terms of clothing. Tons of white t-shirts and gym shorts in summer, at least. Even for most rich ones abroad, fashion is just buying whatever brand is trending. Anti-Social Social Club was big a few years ago. I no longer live in FOBville so I'm not sure what's hot now.

It's a welfare state, that's how they have time for this kind of stuff. Look up how most SMEs are funded in Japan it's almost all bad loans coming from the pension system. Don't know how a foreigner is supposed to get on welfare or a fake work welfare job in Japan.
