Baltic sea in Kaliningrad is quite a popular tourist spot actually, at least used to be, im not sure how it is now because it's harder to get into Kaliningrad from mainland Russia

They don't have the same boat culture as Swedes and Fennoswedes. As far as I know, Russians prefer Czech spa towns or Cannes if they're going for vacations in Europe

last time i was up north there was more russians than norwegians there, we where just grilling crabs on the beach and russian families where swimming and bathing all over the place. i gotta give it to them, they might be more resilient to cold water, it was 25-30c in the air that day, the sea was still 2c and they didnt give a fuck. search grense jakobselv on maps.
