I recently finished reading The Master and Margarita, and I found it absolutely captivating. The novel has sparked a deep interest in Russian culture. I now wish to visit Russia, attend a Russian play, experience a Russian orchestra, learn the language to enjoy literature in its original form, travel on the Trans-Siberian Railway, sample traditional vodka, visit a banya, and more. Could you recommend other notable works of Russian literature?

leaders of USSR realised they could have better lives if the controlled things in a capitalist system, so crashed the USSR and controlled the new oligarchs, living fat in cyprus. USSR still exists except in name, but they are a capitalist system which works (relatively).
they'd all be dead by now but the book is old.
