generally very hospitable especially if you’re a westener, always make sure to carry cash, preferrably lek instead of euro since some places dont take credit card and it will make your trip far more convenient, if you’re simply looking to be at the beach avoid the usual popular onces since they’ve become overcrowded and tourist trappy, ksamil is a good one, if you want to visit some of the prettier towns berat, kruje and gjirokaster are always a good choice

Thanks, I'm staying 1 night in Tirana, then hiring a car and going to Berat, Gjirokaster, Ksamil, Saranda, Himara, Vlore and then back to Tirana for 2 nights. Going to do some sightseeing of ruins and castles but also relax on the beach and hopefully do some swimming and try local food and beers.

enjoy the trip anon and stay safe, if you find yourself having some more time in the trip to visit more places, theth-valbona are both very wonderful raw locations and still relatively untouched by tourism and i'd recommend for anyone and make sure to try the raki in valbona if you end up going.

Hire the car from global companies. Stay away from local scammy scammy family businesses. Also roads are shit, almost bangladesh tier. The country has a cafe culture and there will be shitload of cafes you'll see. Residents are short tempered, as short tempered as t*rks so beware and stay away from trouble no matter what. Also don't forgdt to carry cash, shitload of cash. Cards are not a thing over there
