What is your daily commute like iyc?

I used to walk to work in Chicago, which was really nice. Got sick of my shit job and went back to school. Now I drive there for 30 minutes here in Phoenix. Not bad since there's never any traffic since I go the opposite direction of rush hour. Two times a week I have a course at the closer campus and I either take the free bus for 20 mins or drive my scooter there, weather permitting. Could be worse ig.

I ride a motorbike in. It takes about 28min

Is that Rainier? My old manager at Starbucks corporate I was close with would invite me over and you could see it from his giga mansion with an insane yard in Tacoma. Was always jealous of that while I was cooped up in a shithole apartment in the city.

traffic's hellish on weekdays, public transport a mob-nopoly, streets are mostly in disrepair

I managed to free myself from most of it it tho, for work I drive out from the city when everybody drives in, and in when everybody drives out. For errands I drive saturdays and sundays, and out from the rush hour if I'm in a hurry
