Crossed off my travel list
Dont feel to get shot or stabbed.
Canada also off.
Whole Africa off.
Australia off. Too hot, to many spiders and Asians.
New Zealand off. For being gay.
Middle East off.
Large parts of Asia off.

For me it´s Europe, South America, Japan, Korean,Vietnam,Thailand.

Cannot wait to see you on the news about only your arm being found.

It's rare for visitors to be targeted for violent crime like that. If you're a tourist doing typical tourist stuff, you probably have more to worry about from natural hazards than violent crime.

To annoy the locals with my presence.

Nah man your country is full of monkey brained people, all what has to happen is one getting mad at you and you then landing into the hospital if you are lucky.

Generally, violent incidents like that happen between people (locals usually) who know each other. Usually it's either gang members, drug dealers/users, family, ex-lovers, or neighbors.
I live in an area that gets a lot of tourists - most of the violent crimes I've heard of were stuff like neighbors getting into fights or ex-husbands killing their wives.

it doesn't matter, the uneasiness is still there, I've never had a good time in America because I'm on high alert the entire time. Although I've only travelled to cities, I'm sure smaller towns have a safer vibe

Generally yeah. Depends on the neighborhood in the city though. When I'm in DC I'm usually in the center or Western neighborhoods, where violence isn't quite as common. Driving through the Eastern 1/3 I'm on alert with the doors locked. In my small town area people leave their doors and cars unlocked.

Why is Korea on the list? There's no reason to travel to this country. Even Koreans buy plane tickets to Japan, Taiwan, or Vietnam for the cost of two domestic trips.
Especially if you're a man. I've never seen a white male tourist traveling alone or with just other men; they always travel with a girlfriend or wife. I don't know what white women enjoy about this country either, but at least they travel alone or with their same-sex friends anyway.

Don't care, too many reports of people being killed in one of those countries.

More people die in europe to heat every year than die in america from gun violence
