China is only a threat from around 2028 to around 2035. 2028 is the soonest they could theoretically invade (though the chances of success are still low given their navy isn't nuclear powered) and around 2035 is when their population crisis will be too large to actually make an invasion possible

Population collapse is such a funny issue to me. Women are extremely easy to brainwash, and movies keep showing how difficult and painful it is to give birth and scared the shit out of them. That's literally the main reason, economics and everything else is simply justification. With modern tech women usually don't even feel anything when giving birth, I know this because a lady at work described the process to me.

And by 2100 they will only have 400 million but even worse is that 70% of them will be retirement age so the 30% will have to figure out how to support the 70%. Never before has a country had demographic that fucked up but by 2100 multiple countries will. This is some amazing uncharted territory.

But even that is hopeful and assumes Chinas birth rate stays constant l. If it dips to Korea's current levels or even worse to northern china's levels there will only be 250 to 300 million with an 80% retirement age rate. And yes unless Taiwan begins importing mainlanders the same will happen here too.

Taiwan and Singapore can survive the population collapse as long as our immigration from China continues to be high
