Anonymous Croatia No.214865183 [Report]

Refugees, no.
Philipinos and nepalese, yes. In growing numbers. 5 years ago it was 99% white apart from some serbs and an odd black guy and chinese restaurant owner gere and there.

If the empire hadn’t crumbled we would have probably pulled what hungary did with the millenial celebration and the now old-town would have been much bigger.

But it is very reminiscent of vienna in it’s arhitecutre. Unsurprisingly ofc.

Yeah but the purger variant. People still know some old “agramer” germanicisms but less and less by the day.

Depends on what you’re into. Theres plenty to do if you’re outdoorsy. For example the 1064m high (iirc), mountain which is like a 15-20min drive from the city centre to the foothills from which you begin your ascent.

There’s skiing in the winter and you can visit a lot of places like mines, an abadoned sanatorium turned into a paintball course, churches, chapels, caverns, waterfalls, mountain lodges and a medival fortress.

Anonymous Croatia No.214865640 [Report]

Almost no gyppos. The main problem when it comes to brownness are the unknown origin volks from bosnia.

In some pics it reminds me of Prague

Rs? The meme serb territory in bosnia? Kek, we almost leveled them in 1995 and kicked them out for good but the americans saved their asses by stopping us. I think they remember that and if their motherstate tried to attack us again they’d get bodied in 2 weeks.

This image plus another set of green squares to the left (lenuci’s horseshoe) is the “old-town” comprised of the upper town and lower town. To the west you have some more nice sauares and places for a few more km. To the east (left) it gets a bit ugluer but then theres the maksimir urban firest/park shich has a zoo and is huge and in the middle of the city. That’s the good part od Zagreb.

Immediately south of the Central railway station (nearest building in picrel) is where you have commieblocks beginning and leading to the sava river which has “new zagreb” on the other side of it.
All in all 1mil inhabitants but the comfy part pictured in picrel used to be the whole of Zagreb and it had like 50k people back in 1900.

I got out of Stockholm because of how unaffordable it was. I would be a rentoid forever if i stayed. Presumably Zagreb is the most expensive city in the region by now. On a local wage, what sort of living arrangements would i have to be looking forward to? A one room apartment in a commieblock that costs half my paycheck?

You could probably get a comfie one bedroom depending on the neighborhood (renting).

Found this listing for 65 square meters at 900 which seems like a lot (I don’t rent so I don’t really know). I also found a 650 euro listing for like 55 square meters in the same neighborhood. If you go a bit to the outskirts it gets a lot cheaper. This is all in all a comfy well connected neighborhood and it’s near the Jarun lake which makes it somewhat better.

It’s not a low tier city. The (lack thereof) urban planning in the 90s and the fact it’s overpopulated and lacks a metro are it’s only dowsides really.
