High taxes without getting much back from it, high prices on everything, anything fun is taxed to high heaven or straight up banned, insanely introverted people, making new friends as an adult is impossible, borderline authoritarian government, horrid climate with soul-crushing cold winters and short summers. Nature here is beautiful and the women are pretty, otherwise this country sucks whole ass.

while i symphatize with your lack of protection with food impulse control is an universal thing and you can't really blame it more than any other country in the world
even with the fucked up food situation, just make as much from the scratch as you can and you can at least somewhat avoid it? i personally do so anyways and when you make huge batches every time and freeze a large portion of it, it is maintainable even as someone working a full time job and living alone
even then i know you will be worse off in usa than you would be in finland with the same practices but you can at least minimize the damage that shit does
