You must be 18 or older to post on this board
I decided to move to Loonix immediately when they stopped support for WinGOAT 7, never looked back or regretted it
>people clung to xp during 7 era >people clung to 7 when micropeen discontinued it in favor of win10 >people are now clinging to fucking win10
yawn, see you in ~10y when people will pretend win11 was the best thing ever and refuse to "upgrade" to whatever microsoft shoves down your throats. windows 10 was never not awful and unusable

if you actually used windows 98 you'd know xp was solid compared to that shitshow, and then we have vista which was apparently bugged to hell and back but never used it as i jumped from xp to W7. W7 i have unironically used for 14 years, to the point i had to jump to W11 pajeetware with built in adware. and no one talks about windows 8 for a reason

Windows 7 always had glitched updates it would get stuck on for me. Windows 10 was a mess until I switched to LTSC. They managed to ship a couple botched ones but nothing that broke my computer. Now that I use Linux all the hassles are gone.

I never implied there was some kind of cycle like those retards who think that every other windows release will be good, just that people refused to leave xp when it got discontinued, then it happened again with windows 7 (that's where I jumped ship), and now it's happening once again
what's really astonishing is how bad windows 10 is, there is nothing worth clinging for there

That's like saying listening to the Barney theme song on repeat for an hour isn't so bad because you just listened to Baby Shark for an hour.

there's a reason why everyone is familiar with xp and w7, because they were (w7 to some degree stil is) solid. micropenissoft has pumped out a lot of garbage over the years so that's why these stand out, because they were not total garbage and everyone used it. going from windows 7 to 11 and having to disable all the built in ads to the best of my abilities, wondering where all the shit is, a freakshow of a start menu they apprently removed on earlier versions. honestly wtf. having to right click after having it to look up siplly to sign off >we have a reasonably good product >hmmm, lets improve it? but how, maybe pajeet will know >SAAAAAAAAAAARRRR!!! yes SAAR >it's now cow shit

never used 10 but a modern xp or w7 i'd switch in a heartbeat. i have some experience with linux because that's what the uni servers ran on, perhaps some nostalgia (not really, i used windows 7 untill 2024 untill i had enough of the potato laptop and the new one came with pajeet 11)

it was horrible at the start and the goy editions are a complete mess but nonbloated later windows 10 versions are fine >>215935338
objectively the best and fastest version
