MBS is the modern day Atatürk and one of the finest statesmen of the 21st century.

Yeah, even though a lot of progressives hate him, my impression is that he's a clever man trying to balance things, because what the hell do they want him to do? Give the country shock therapy and liberalize instantly? Even he would would be ousted in days, I imagine.

Progressives are too retarded to realize they stand on the shoulders of giants who made their society what it is. If you give undeveloped people democracy they won't become wholesome chungus democracy (sorry flip bro just look at your country and the people who voted for the son of that ultra corrupt dictator)

I agree that MBS is probably a rich degenerate looking out for himself above all else. Still, Saudi Arabia is more liberal today than it was 20 years from what I've read, though still very repressive. I just don't see any other way the country can realistically socially progress that will not involve a coup or civil war, so I don't understand the hatred many have for him particularly. Economically, yeah, many decisions that Saudi Arabia has taken seem rather stupid; I agree with you on that.

He's not even close to Ataturk's level of secularism.

It was a different time, you can't rapidly push for a progressive society anymore, especially with all the gen-z color revolution going around these few years. In Muslim countries the zoomers are more radical than the boomers because they all fell for foreign funded Le caliphate, le ummah meme (Saudi and Qatar do the funding btw, liberalize their own country but radicalize the browns to keep as servile goyims)

They can't really secularize given how much money the black cube generates and going UAE mode will undermine their legitimacy
