Without borders the very concept of a nation state is redundant. What you have left is basically an economic zone. It genuinely disgust me when you have seemingly left wing people unironically wanting open borders for places like the US or the EU or Australia when it would literally be a billionaires wet dream.

I might have thought like this when I was a teenager but the more I'm exposed to the third world the more I realize that borders are the only thing stopping my life from going to absolute shit due to the worst possible people.
