I don't understand why people paint obesity as a social problem rather than an individual problem.

Obesity is arguably good for society, our social security and medicare system would be in a worse position if we had a lower obesity rate.

even when given the same amount of calories rats feed with slop gain weight faster and develop hunger much faster than the ones who are feed actual food, take it from me, I'm an ectomorph and is difficult to me to reach my calorie needs when eating actual food (I don't like slop)
