I once had to give out a stool sample for some liver thingy, it was clean but I glanced at the report, they tested it for parasites, shell of parasites, dead bacteria, toxins etc., how do jeets manage become doctors and engineers and scientists is beyond me? Yes they publish papers. They also published the papers that lead to Docker and Hadoop, but it's not just about research.

They don't have the engineering culture to produce game changing products. Stakeholder profit demands leads to a sort of stakeholder paralysis where they can't make decisions because of the necessary risks.

No big company in general has the "engineering culture" you speak of because that's a start-up thing. Tesla is the quirkiest company of them all and they don't have it either (but pretend to just like the others).

That's exactly my point. It's only about milking the cash cow now. Eventually the market will be tapped and the value is gonna drop like a rock. That's how Xerox died. They also had a very impressive R&D center in Palo Alto and it did them no good because they ignored the research it popped out.

Using a 'too big to fail' company in the midst of a bubble as some kind of proof is pathetic ranjeet. Inflation is also up 25% since 2020 and they've been consistently struggling throughout the AI race as well. I'm sure when the bubble pops you'll claim they had nothing to do with it.
