Not really racist but our family always says something along the lines of "Gidip de kendine illinin yabancısını buldun Türkle evleneceğine."...Now that I think about it, it is racist but that's impossible because TVRKS cannot be racist.

My parents are racist to anyone who isn't from our town. If you are from "the outside" then you are suspicious, probably a terrorist, rapist, murderer and can't be trusted.
My dad has literally followed tourists around (there's some semi-popular nature stuff nearby) so he could (in his words) "keep an eye on the filth".
My mom straight up called a new teacher at our school a "negerfrämling" (nigger stranger). She wasn't even black, I think she was like half Turkish or something.

With that said, I'm together with a girl I've known since kindergarten. Lived two houses from me my entire life. They love her.
