Pure Slavs like Ukrainians have too little pure EHG to model the northern component of early Indo-Europeans, Sarmatians were 70% Yamniggers despite the presence of BMAC and Siberians, ANE and some other exotic components.

The Sarmatians are apparently descendants of the Srubnaya culture, and the Srubnaya culture is a mixture of Sintashta and Yamnaya elements. Consequently, they actually had a higher WSH ansestry than the Sintashta themselves.
