they're crazy, one friend from Fiji long ago told me they were "rascals", I didn't know what he meant but after being in other 3rdie countries, where people just hang around like NPC's, they use their boredom for stunts, dancing, or violence
Port Moresby seemed like a normal tropical location but I saw three dumpster fires in one day
I did go deep into the jungle highlands to a place only accessible by plane, but straight from the capital so while its not for tourists it wasn't a crazy remote location or something
they have a lot of homemade guns for some reason
alcohol too, even though normal stuff is readily available and cheap
