Under international law, the relationship between Koreans and Japanese was like that between Austrians and Germans. You can think of Korean soldiers in Asia during World War II as the atrocities committed by Austrian Nazi soldiers in Europe while serving in the German military.

What I was trying to say was that under international law, Korea and Japan were in the same relationship as Austria and Germany, but unlike Austria, which was punished as a war criminal state due to the presence of the US military government, Korea was able to easily escape the wrongdoings of World War II.

>polish partisans and the red army team up to "liberate" Vilnius
>after intensive fighting the germans abandon the city
>polish flag is raised over Gediminas castle
>soviets do a 180° and start executing their polish brothers, some manage to flee
>soviet flag is raised on Gediminas castle
>Stalin gives back Vilnius to Lithuania anyway
Similar thing happened in Warsaw, but there the red army waited for you and germans to kill each other before taking the city

>On 2 August 1944 Tusk was conscripted into Wehrmacht, into the 328. Grenadier-Ersatz- und Ausbildungsbatallion (328th Grenadier Replacement and Training Battalion).[8][9][10] After about four months, around 24 November 1944 or soon afterward, he either deserted, defecting to the Polish Armed Forces in the West, or was imprisoned in an Allied prisoners-of-war camp.[11][12]
