I think that anons feel as though in current society they’ve been given the short end of the stick and comparatively conditions for women have increased significantly with the last 50 years and consequently women’s agency has expanded. I disagree that women have it easier in modern day society even in Russia and Ukraine since we’re on the international board let’s speak globally women outside of the west are still under prejudice and discrimination (sexism, sexual violence, inequality). This is not as related but I find it a bit confusing that some anons romanticize the past and conservatism past wars, times where social upward mobility was a lot more constrained and simultaneously complain about subjects that imo seem a lot more superficial, class in society, employment, women, maybe it’s due to hierarchy of needs
