How did Islam get so big when muslims are so weak and stupid? Were muslims much stronger and smarter in the past? How did they degenerate to what they are today?

Arabs were like mongols, a well-coordinated cavalry force that came out of nowhere and swept over decaying empires, but unlike the mongols who really didn't give a shit about anything they also had a new proselytizing religion which they installed in the conquered regions.

before the development of modern medicine, religion was even more necessary from a psychological standpoint than it is today, yes, arabs were more successful in the past, they led the development of mathematics until they fell off in the middle ages i think it was, my guess is that religion did a lot of harm to the region but idk

Im not trying to undermine Rome, no civilization has had and likely no civilization will have the cultural impact and legacy that they had, but ive read that they didnt develop much theoretical (and therefore practical mathematics) when compared with greeks and arabs, they were focused on practical math, but that was a mistake because every useful theory of math was at one point just 'useless theory' and the reason why i bring up this is because racists like to pretend that race is the only factor that shapes scientific and technological development, but cultural forces shape science too, and every culture varies widely, and then, when you bring up this they come up with some weird excuse, like saying that arabs were white, correct me if im wrong but the racial phenotype was something that happened over the course of tens of thousands of years, not less than a thousand.
