The reason why t*rkey's HDI is abnormally high is because adult turkish men after uni register into Remote Night Schools in order to delay the compulsory conscription. They don't attend their classes at all and those courses are usually about sewing machine, turko-islamic history and prophet mohammad's life.

HDI is also calculated mainly by the median education attaintment of the countries.
