My state recorded 6% GDP growth in 2023 with the agro industry growing 8% a year back in 2022 and 2023, a whole 62% growth in wholegrain sector just in 2023 and a 32% increase in aggregated value of agricultural exports combining a 14% increase in aggregated value of all exports in that same year, added to a 14% growth in the tech sector in 2023 aswell. In 2024 things deacelerared and it only grew 4% in GDP.
I am waiting for this year's figures though, but it's probably be around 4% again.
Some foreign companies from the US and China were drawn to invest on us but it's surprising every time we do good over here we're met with absolute indiference/denial from general brazilian investors and companies except our own and no one talks about it. It was the same back in 2013-15.
