you can live the dream of making $15,000 a year in a cuck apartment in some random japanese town. if i was in my early 20s i would go teach english abroad or volunteer for the peace corps.

I lived there briefly, I don't recommend it, because due to some circumstances you'll probably move back to America and it's better to not be driven insane knowing how good life could be somewhere else

not sure if there are any peace corps positions in japan, theyre mostly in developong countries. i applied and i was accepted to both an english teaching position in china and a teaching position in mongolia. ended up taking a job offer i received at the same time but i fantasize about what it would have been like sometimes.

Don't go. English subtitles don't actually appear when they speak so it's not worth it.

I gave up on my Japan delusions. I wouldn't want to permanently live there anyway since it goes against my morals but I would like to do an extended stay since we get 90 day visa free travel. I just have too many obligations here currently. Maybe when I'm a retired boomer I can spend more than a 1-2 week vacation there. Or maybe in another life. The only people who can make this work are nepobabbies or richfags.

1) The cities are recently built so the infrastructure works pretty well
2) It's dirt cheap, especially if you're paid in foreign currencies
3) If you're from somewhere like the US where prostitution is illegal then go to Japan where it's everywhere you go from having access to pretty attractive women to where even 5/10s won't even look at you twice
