Yeah it's decent
Every match has a few slightly engaging moments in it.
Favorite map is Aberfell especially, favorite weapon went from war axe -> executioner's axe -> longsword -> dane axe. Dane axe isn't even that good but I like that you get to carry two of them so you can always throw something with tremendous ease
Recently I've been trying out greatsword. Not that good at it

I heavily advise against the dane axe, it is extremely strong and bends the rules of the game due to it's slightly overtuned speed and fast recovery, if you get used to dane axe you'll suck at other weapons because you'll keep bad habits (probably why you're stuggling with greatsword)

my advice? use the Messer, it's strong in all areas but you still have to obey and learn how the game works.
I got a 105 kill game (kills not takedowns) with just the messer, it's a beast

At a certain point, I feel like this is an IQ issue. It's like how fighting games basically are won by whoever has a higher IQ, reaction time, predictive ability, and the finger dexterity of a fucking pianist
I can say for sure that if I ever get a 100+ kill game, it's because the other team has to be complete ass and even then it's just a fluke and not repeatable.
Frankly I was surprised that in recent games I've been at the top third of the leaderboard, sometimes I even get the MVP position and get to play as the prisoner in Falmire or as Malric in Regicide, but if I'm totally honest, my team always sucks compared to the other team if I'm on top. If I'm leading my team with 7000pts, every single member on the upper third of the other team has 8000pts, etc.

All this just to cope with being a jobless loser KHHV, the rope is inevitable

another tip: counter feinting

e.g if you counter and your enemy drags or feints to another attack, you can feint your counter to it's alt version (e.g slash to slash) to extend your counter window, or to match the enemy's attack.
getting comfotable with counter feinting will make the game a lot easier
