Next week's tourney will be delayed by a week. So instead of it being held on the regular first Friday of the month, it'll take place on Friday 11th.

Honestly that sounds like a pretty good idea to me. It'll give the leaderboard more flexibility in the long run and some of the tournies have felt pretty snappy at times. Chances for more lesser-raced maps to show up too.

We will only use the initial same 2 characters throughout the tournament. If there's any change the player will still be allowed to keep racing, but will be disqualified from the championship.

After each race, I'll post the points tally.

I unwinded a bit after a wild tourney but I gotta ask: who choked the hardest, cherry or kaiser?

Cherry didn't really choke, looking back. He came into the final round with a small lead over Slowestretard and iirc he only climbed to 1st the previous round. He needed to finish ahead of retard to win but couldn't due to an insane last race where he was leading til like the final turn but classic skydrift shithousery happened. Itb was tough but he still finished 2nd overall and won the next chip comfortably.

Kaiser tho... He had won like 6 out of the first 7 rounds and looked unstoppable. Then he lost momentum and finished dead last in the 11th round and it was effectively over.
I mean, props to him bc I remember when he first joined he was finishing last all the time and now he was on the verge of glory but choked hard. Don't really know what happened there, hopefully we hear from him so we know his POV.

Props to Dll too of course, one person's choke is another one's epic comeback.

The anon above me explained it better than I could've, I do still feel slightly robbed from the second tourney but really thought Kaiser was gonna end up owning this last one. Those final few races at least allowed me to climb up a bit though.
