Tangentially related but I am suddenly reminded of a dream I had a long time ago. I was riding in a bus going through some mountains that my dream self knew was in Japan. The road we were on was relatively high up in the mountains but there was still a village up there along the road facing out, and I could see giant sunflowers poking over the roof line of the village, all facing towards the sun. When I say giant sunflowers, I mean actually massive, as they seemed to be growing out of the plains at the bottom of the mountain. I remember even in the dream thinking that it was both surreal and beautiful.
