Most people seem to think of her as the silent cool type, but with her faces in game she seems to be rather the cute moe type, despite also feeling tall as hell.

Eh, every character seems to be a girl, monster or animal in pc98 2hu, I'm not even sure if Shingyoku(male) would even be a man or just a girl in male clothing so it might be just girls. Or not idk, Sariel also seems to be a girl despite the angel being male iirc.

Nope, not a possibility - the kana version of 矜羯羅 is こんがら, and the syllabic 'n' is almost never transcribed as "nn" and isn't spoken as one, either [ŋ]
It can be an issue with a program ZUN used to create the romaji spellings - it was 1995 after all - but it definitely 100% is not correct

That's pretty crazy, I should really get into asian religions one of there days. You wouldn't know the meaning of the siddham text that appears in her battle by chance? I mean I can compare them and know how they are pronounced but I have zero clue about their meaning.

Could be, but afaik pc98 had each kana mapped to a single key, but maybe that's just the default setting. But just for clarification for any lurker: usually Japanese keyboards would make typing both konngara and kongara output こんがら.
Another odd thing is that ZUN didn't write nn for Shingyoku, but it might also be the habit of double tapping n manifesting only every now and then in ZUN.
I think that maybe ZUN just read some romanization of the name like koṃgla and decided that nn would "feel better" in romaji... or just confused the m for nn in his memory.

True. They're more or less random siddhaṃ characters for a buddhist flair.

I'm not exactly an expert, but I'm pretty sure they have both QWERTY and たていすかんな (I guess it's called) layouts, which could be used interchangably depending on the user. Also, I don't think ZUN wrote it like that because he thought it was the most correct according to contemporary romanization standards or didn't notice that it wasn't. It's not that unusual for japanese artists/writers/etc to use unorthodox or outdated romanization for aesthetic value. Take the game 蘭丸 LAM-MAL, for example... Unless there's some deeper reason for spelling Ranmaru as Lammal, but my point still stands, it can be a stylistic choice.

It could just be ZUN seeing kongara written in romaji once and remembering it as two nn instead of ṃ after seeing "koṃgla" in a museum or something...
Then he just put the rest as standard Japanese romanization, because he might not have that info anywhere at hand to check.
Dunno how easy that info was in 80's-90's Japan but I thought it might be a possibility.

Just like why her lower half fades away as if she were a ghost, or the darkness coming from her heart(feels like too much to the left but I think the intention was it being her heart) as well as whenever she's holding a sake plate or something else.
HRtP characters are pretty much like Yume Nikki characters, you just have some non-verbal interactions and that's it.

Makes me wonder if ZUN messed up and picked the looks of a different deity/buddha/whatever and the name of another.
For example I remember some buddhist(iirc) picture with a deity holding a sword up, while others had the sword close to the body like Fudou Myouou.

たていすかん I guess, I think the な is just to make it an adjective.
In Neko Project all I see is it having the QWERTY + たていすかん option aka you write romaji or one kana per key.
But that's just in the console of the pc98, there seem to be some programs to get kanji into it but I'm not sure if it was via kana input only.
