I don't love them. They are just good for my dick, and after using them I throw them away like used tissues.

Because I'm a 30 year old virgin who has accepted that he'll never have a girlfriend, so I cope by jerking off to anime girls.

Interesting take but can you elaborate?
Most bug-eyed ink grills have fairly milquetoast, mary sue idealized gamuts of charaterisitics and traits.
Few characters can possibly inspire fervor like something from Pygmalion

I value permanence over transience when it comes to beauty, and there is no such thing as a permanent beauty in real life.

If that's what constitutes as "otherworldy" I think I'm more fine now with the possibility of death leading to nothing more than a void.

I really, really appreciate the craft of creating a good bishoujo-style character design. A well-drawn and well-designed girl is delightful to no end. Bishoujo characters are indeed cute and/or sexy, but what differentiates them from cute and sexy girls in real life is the artist's deliberation, the care put into the details, the thought behind each one. It's also very interesting to see how bishoujo designs have evolved over time and what influenced them over the years, the history of the genre is full of cute girls and their talented creators, I love that. I love them all, really. I love simple, elegant and laconic anime girls, I love complex and ornate anime girls, I love fantastical, whimsical anime girls, I love grounded and modern anime girls, I love the cute ones and the sexy ones, I love the old-school classics and the trends of today. The bishoujo genre is awesome.
short answer: because I'm insane or something

idk if you're also >>49596327 or if I'm just jumping to conclusions but I feel you would get your message across better without using the word mary sue, and actually describing what you mean.
mary sue don't really exist irl but only in fiction... they are technically otherworldly

Akane Tendo has to be the most unintentionally unlikable character I've seen in anything.
