Some anon said back in May that Shiravune licensed both games (pic related), but I checked Shiravune's Twitter and didn't see anything. Also the announcement post doesn't mention Shiravune, or any localization company at all, for that matter. I don't know if I'd assume yet that this means they aren't releasing it through one, though.
>>49698664Makes sense for it to get licensed, Subahibi has been a rather steady seller on Steam.
>>49698664enough underage white girls in subahibi cosplay have @โd scaji on twitter for him to make this decision. thank you pinterest
>>49698823No, the relevant part of that pic is "Auguist title; Fortune Arterial".
This is a big hype as that game was curesed; picked 3x times and dropped. And if they success maybe they will bring the Librarian VN and his sequel/fandisc.
>>49698664Whichever retards are in charge of the intl. version decided it would be a good idea to spam takedown request all over the English internet for everything related to this series
I hate the DMCA and internet janitors (probably some FUCKING INDIAN based in canada in this case) so much it's unreal

Leaker here. We had a meeting with some key significant members of Shiravine and NEXTON recently regarding the acquisition and delivery of Amakano. Our primary question was, "how do we go about it?"
To which several suggestions flew, of which I'll name; start from the first game, and work down to 3; from the 'second season' down; from the 2nd game to its FD and eventually the third game, as soon as possible. Our conclusion (suggested by none other than Robert) eventually landed on something new altogether. Namely, that, we would go with (c), and, eventually, release all the others, ignoring nothing, but with some dependencies accounted, naturally. Yeah.
Robert emphasized a need for the company to have something of a 'series-loyal' model, stating that a significant source of success from all competitors emanated primarily from curating a loyal fanbase through closely collaborating with a given producer, and then throwing darts. The larger your truss and rapport with as many producers as possible, to the extent of essentially monopolizing their attention, the more carefree -or, more importantly, carefully- you could then be at throwing darts, and as two these together grew in proportion, the more sure your success would be.
Nekonyan was named in the meeting as a model example of the above. So long as Yuzusoft continues, they have through it a channel of sure profit, and part product of this profit could be invested in any desirable alternative licensing of their choosing, purely because the sum generated through Yuzusoft was that capable. Strong too enough to vertically integrate yet more producers wholeheartedly, pointedly seen through ASa Project, creating an unstoppable feedback loop.
A yuzusoft title would sell extremely well -> the money made could be used to 'throw darts' ( license anything ) -> provided yet more partners were created, the pool would expand -> it would sell well -> repeat
One of NEXTON's agents asked why our licensing decisions ( which we all had to list in the meeting ) was initially so frenetic and, as he put, 'copulative', to which it was answered that 'we wanted to succeed -and do so rapidly- where every other starter failed, and that had to start by Impinging on what the community already deemed favorable.' Rather than begin licensing 30 minute nukige and working up, it was bluntly stated that 'taking the scraps from observable successes, or realizing that which couldn't be' was much faster. Grabbing what MG, a then unstable company experiencing a shift in managerial control, threw, was the easiest foothold into stable waters. They were right.
A lot more was stated, but well, I don't want to write it all down. Shiravune's goals are to expand on the producer portion for now, acknowledging their heavy lack in this regard. Further connections with NEXTON will be secured, and much more in the future. From loyal fan bases to VNs you can switch to at any time- their ultimate goal is to become #1, consume all, and DMM has promised full assistance. Parasitizing is no longer needed. The host is now dead.
Crushing Love Lab from existence was merely the beginning. If only erasing Sekai was that easy, but unfortunately, it seems they've played their hand well. From Purplesoftware to Sayori and Fumi et al.
Oh right. We found the rat 'Kamige of the Round Table' guy and fired him too. I read his posts from the archive. What a retard.
>>49703701Sounds like a (You) problem
>>49707678Which part are you looking forward too the most? The 20 hours of talking about pottery or the 10 hours of retarded shimoneta?
>>49707828Why do you care? With all the fucking slop VNs that get posted about on this site, this is the one that you find inconceivable that someone would want to read? Go bother someone else.
Why is some retard bumping the old thread at page 10 on repeat?
>>49708276they probably need to slide some general out of the catalog.
>>49703701Ironic moege for pseudo-intellectuals, pretty straight-forward appeal.
>>49707845its exactly the same kind of slop as the other VNs though, thats the point. not even that anon but sakuuta's cult is completely nonsensical, just read H2O and a wikipedia article on art for the same experience
>>49709023>It's the same kind of slop as the other VNs that people commonly want to read therefore I can't understand why anyone would want to read itOkay

>>49709224>calls out the guy for singling out sakuuta as something unique, which it is notI didn't say anything about how unique (or not) the game is, I said it was one of the few games I would still want to read, which is only a statement about my own interests. So why would I be interested in it? That I have no interest in explaining to you, like I need to justify to some random faggot on 4chan why I'd want to read something. Lol.
>>49709250>I said it was one of the few games I would still want to readwhich makes it stand out from the ones that you do not want to read, i.e it means it's unique (to you), retard.

>>49709264>which makes it stand out from the ones that you do not want to readTo my own personal tastes, yes. That says nothing about what the game is actually like. I haven't read it, you know?
>go back to sharty or bait on more popular boardsI said I wanted to read something that you don't like, boo fucking hoo. Why don't you keep crying about it?
>>49709298Hard to tell if you're really this retarded and incapable of reading comprehension or baiting
>>49709364I've done nothing other than state my personal interest in this game. You're the ones that have spent half the thread being upset about it.
>>49707179So 0 hype. My favorite and by many others is Amakano 1 Perfect edition. Starting by the second title could cannibalize later the first and third game unlike if they were released in the normal order. And let's not start with the DLC. In the west we prefer the shinier/beefy editions, separate DLCs for VNs just don't sell.
>>497095051. Why did you believe that shitpost?
2. Amakano 1 is a complete snoozefest. I refuse to believe it could be anyone's favorite out of the 3 games.
>>49709373you're the one assmad about people asking you why you're interested though, stringing them along for half the thread only to finally say you're not going to divulge. take your medicine and get off the internet
