Okay so that's 7 racers by my count...
TFT, Cancermania, Strelok, Fudge are other anons who've raced so assuming we have more players this time around (hopefully someone gets the word out on Kissu too) we could actually do some qualis given that everyone shows up

Aight so as a test I'll make a quick lobby TOMORROW NIGHT (thursday) at 9 pm EST just to test out the qualis system so pls show up for a few racers
Here's how I think it ould go:
As another anon proposed last thread, we'll assign numbers to the racers that show up and then we'll draw them up against each other in two groups and have them compete in 3 races in random circuits.
Then using AI for convenience we'll sort out the best times and make a mock leaderboard in which the best times would qualify to the tournament

Remember this is a test, so let's see how it plays out. It can also be good practice for Friday lol.

A lot of it comes from learning how characters handle and their good and bad map matchups. Some are just cock and ball torture if your 2hus cant drift well. There's also some tricks like map shortcuts which you'd have to lookup how to use.

Yeah, most of those stats are for the "board" 2hu. Kasen is fast (the fastest actually) if you ride her but she cant drift for shit, where Suwako is slower (the slowest actually) but has superior drifting.

Well, we were a man short of splitting the racers into two groups to test the system properly. So I guess there will be no need of a quali tomorrow if there's no one left out.
But if there is, then we'll have to implement the untested 2 group dynamic and have a 3 race qualis for both groups, add them up and make up the best 7 times to go on and proceed to the tournament.

Not going to lie, I haven't been paying attention to the rules or scoring metric, I'm just going to race and hope for the best

There's a "shortcut" in the youkai mountain map, specifically in the kappa warehouse type place where you have to boost up a flight of stairs
I have attempted it like 4 times across these sessions and have yet to do it without getting caught on some piece of terrain I can't even see
