The other controvery seems to be a more general one about general mismanagement from the event staff and directors including not giving people enough water for california weather. There apparently was a google doc for the general controversy but apparently some of the victims weren't asked for their permission so I think it's been pulled (given the lack of a document and the unusability of twitter search, I'm not entirely sure what happened at the event, but I assume there was more groping and assault)

I lurked around the touhoufest community for a bit and was disgusted, every communication had to be done through their discord which was a huge red flag to start out with. Twitter wasn't much better so you had to join their discord by to even see if it was legit. My very brief interaction with the western touhou community was at a con where some people were taking about going to touhoufest. It was full of trannies, people who never played the games but loved fumos and memes. This is what bronycon must have been like.

My take is basically the guy wants to be the king of all touhou stuff in the US while at the same time vanishing from any and all management tasks. This leads to all the staff mainly comprised of troons who will internally fight over who's more PC with things all making random judgement calls based on how much of a knee you bend the LGBTQIAP+ agenda. Keep in mind he's more or less responsible for the colossal failure known as touhoucon.

Similar patterns are emerging, underage's showing up mingling with people over 30, arbitrary rules for the event, failing to pay people for work or paying them scraps, budgets being mysteriously obscure for what the event is, and so on. I wouldn't be suprised if it came to light staff knew of previous year happenings and just kept it under wraps.
